A2.x Enlarged Plans:

Enlarged plans, are taken from the general floor plans for additional clarity of a given portion of the plan. These drawings may provide additional dimensioning and material identification.

A3.x Reflected Ceiling Plans:

Reflected ceiling plans are drawings defining the building ceiling system, reflective ceiling grid lay-in system or flush ceiling materials, lighting fixtures, emergency lighting fixtures, HVAC distribution system registers and diffuses, sprinkler heads, smoke detector, PA speakers, openings for ducts, chases and skylights, with section designations for details.

As well as provide above-grade walls, doors, windows, and roof line and parapet heights, with material finishes noted, ground floor elevations and depressions with below-grade foundations and footings shown or indicated as required.

A6.x Sections:

Building Sections show the cross section through a building depicting the composition of the building in section through floor-section levels, mezzanine-section levels, floor-to-ceiling heights, section through the roof and parapet, and stairs for vertical circulation above and below grade. These sections generally show the interior character of the structure and related construction materials.

Wall sections are drawings that show sections through typical exterior or interior walls depicting and identifying materials of construction and their connection to the building structural framing system. This includes spaces between floors, floor slabs, roofs and their structural support members, as well as the interior and exterior wall materials and their connection requirements, with section detail designation shown.
