CADD Standards • Version 1.0
The four types of media available for plotting in-house are
transbond, vellum, mylar and presentation bond for a full size plotter
and standard bond paper for a laser printer. Transbond should be used
for ALL intermediate plots for in-house use. Vellum, mylar and presentation
bond shall be reserved for client deliverable plots and Marketing
presentations. Mylar can be contracted out-of-office. In all cases
review requirements with the Project Manager and verify with the MIS.
Be sure to notify the MIS of media usage so that supplies may be
ordered in a timely manner.
