CADD Standards • Version 1.0

Peer-to-Peer (Windows 95)
The network software and applications are resident on the C: Drive. This drive is not to be modified in any way, including the addition of any program. The MIS will make periodic inspections of each machine and will delete any program or data not meeting current standards for the CADD department.

Each station is assigned a network drive letter for the local Projects Drive (this drive is separate from the C: Drive) and a station name. The station name is static and should not be changed without prior approval from the MIS. The drive letter is used to access a mapped network drive from any of the other CADD Stations.

All project related data files should be stored on the Project Drive in a sub-directory named after the project number. Any sub-project of the main project should be stored in independent sub-directories under the main project directory.
