There are currently several plotters available for use, the traditional full size plotter and the small format printer. The full size plotter is a 'D' or 'E' size plotter that shall typically be used for in-house plots too large for the small printer. These plotters are also best suited for final submittals to the client. The small format printer is an inkjet or laser printer, to be used in any circumstance that size is not prohibitive. These printers are ideal for In-House Check sets. The small format printer is generaly identified in AutoCAD for Windows as the "System Printer".
